SPL to acquire CES International
SPL announced on May 4 that it has signed a definitive agreement
to acquire the major assets of CES. SPL is best known for it CorDaptix
CIS solution and CES is best known for their outage management solution.
The acquisition is expected to be finalized in June 2004. The acquisition
of CES is in line with the strategy Harry Debes, CEO of SPL, shared
with the market earlier in 2004. The merger will strengthen the
footprint of SPL within the utilities market.
